Sacred Heart Pendant Workshop

Celebrate Valentine's Day or Galentine's Day by crafting your own sacred heart pendant—a timeless symbol of passion, devotion, and fierce love. In Catholicism, the Sacred Heart symbolizes God's immense, passionate, and redeeming love for humanity. You don't need to be Catholic to enjoy the creative process, and you can make your heart without the flames if you choose. 

In this hands-on workshop, you'll create a mixed metal pendant featuring a red heart. Under expert guidance, you'll learn metalworking techniques to shape, texture, and assemble your unique piece. Specific skills like sweat soldering will be taught, along with sawing, filing, bezel setting, stamping and hammering.

A one-of-a-kind sacred heart pendant in mixed metals with a vibrant red heart and flame details. Each piece is as unique as the person who makes it!

*Please note silver is up to $99 ozt, and milled silver (sheet, wire, bezel, chain) is at $130 - $150 ozt. We will be using fine silver bezels, Sterling silver castings or balls, Nu Gold (has the look of 14K gold without the expense), and copper. If you have your own silver and chain I can give you a reduced price, contact me before registering to inquire.

Location: Mesa Artspace Lofts, Mesa, AZ

Limited space available. Registration required in advance. No prior jewelry-making experience necessary. I will be by your side to help you as needed. Limited to 5 students. If more are interested, I will see if another Ladysmith can assist, bringing the number to 10.
