This necklace is part of my Violet collection, named after my friend's little girl. The collection includes 6 Burro Creek jasper cut by a local woman, and 1 Tiffany stone and 1 Burro Creek jasper cut by a local man. The Burro Creek Jasper was mined right here in Arizona, home of the burros - wild donkeys! The high quality and rare Tiffany stone is from Utah.
The textured ball at the top is an acacia tree bloom I cast in Sterling Silver. Casting is a lot of work! It involves working with wax, investment, a kiln, flames, and many more steps to obtain to the finished product.
